Mindful Eating
When you slowly but surely start becoming aware of the truth we are, our eating habits will change for the better. How come? When you begin to meditate your body, mind, and soul becomes intimate to the universal life force energy, this may be known as Reiki in Japan, or Prana coming from the Sanskrit language which derives from ancient India. Due to this our body stops relying on densely vibrational foods such as processed or refined grains, meats, and unhealthy fats, the list may go on and on. So naturally our body will ask us for higher vibrational sources of nutrition, like vegetables, fruits, and whole grains. Allowing us to have a healthier and expanded life span but also exceeding in our spiritual evolution.
This is because organic eating helps the physical body to regenerate and heal very quickly and prevent disease or illness and the sources from where this food comes from is deeply important as we are all from the stars. Therefor we need the energy of the sun in order for us to thrive in the harshest environments. Now let us think for a second, what grows in the will of the sun? Anything that may sprout directly from planet Earth which may be also know as our Divine Mother of creation, filled with nurturing and unconditional love. The term vegan is deliberately new but the diet itself is more ancient than you may believe. While I am not vegan myself I choose to eat clean as much as possible with the resources I have but sharing about clean eating has its amazing potential because there is enlightened ways of consuming these high vibe foods.
What I am talking about is eating directly with the power of our hands, as i said on my media platforms. This may be know as finger food in more westernized terms. As we take a look back into past human behavior from where everything originated, which is Africa most of our ancestors consumed clean foods with their own fingers from countries such as India, the Middle East, and South East Asia. Eating with our fingers and hands contained a deeper meanings than just chowing down sum delicious light source energy in physical forms.
Consuming in this way allows our somatosensory cortex a part of the brain that is responsible to signal touch, texture, temperature, and pressure to our minds of the food that we will be coming in contact with. Activating our multi-sensory process with our insula and orbitofrontal cortex which integrates and determines the palpability of the food but also prepares our digestive systems activity to increase making it easier for us to process foods. Overall our digestive system is also know as our second brain because both our central nervous system and vagus nerve communicate with each other in order to trigger a rest and digest state enhancing gut mobility and enzyme secretion. Not only that but its also is said that food is tastier and more self rewarding enhancing our attention spans and pleasure circuits.
After providing scientific feedback its important so see that there is immense benefits to hand and finger eating rather than using a fork, knife or spoon. While I’m encouraging this way of mindful eating its good to be aware of all this knowledge and self reflection. With that said I hope we can all achieve a better environment, for our planet in using less plastic utensils but also at the dinner table bringing unexpected bliss and happiness for ourselves and the people around us.
