Reiki, a gentle and simple hands-on energy technique, holds the intention of promoting stress reduction and deep relaxation. Practitioners, while honoring the principles of Reiki, refrain from diagnosing medical conditions, prescribing treatment, or intruding upon the expertise of licensed medical professionals. While Reiki provides a complementary approach to wellness, its practice is not a substitute for traditional medical care. Seeking guidance from a licensed healthcare professional is strongly recommended for any physical or psychological ailment. The philosophy underlying Reiki acknowledges the inherent capacity of the body to initiate its own healing process and recognizes the value of complete relaxation as conducive to this natural ability. It is also recognized that sustained imbalances within the body may necessitate repeated sessions to achieve the level of relaxation essential for the body to engage in its self-healing mechanisms.

Privacy Notice:
No information about any client will be discussed or shared with any third party without written consent of the client or parent/guardian if the client is under 18.

The state of Texas requires us to provide the following statement:

“THE STATE OF TEXAS HAS NOT ADOPTED ANY EDUCATIONAL OR TRAINING STANDARDS FOR UNLICENSED COMPLEMENTARY AND ALTERNATIVE HEALTH CARE PRACTITIONERS. THIS DISCLOSURE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. Under Texas law, an unlicensed complementary and alternative health care practitioner may not provide a medical diagnosis or recommend that a person discontinue a medically prescribed treatment. A client may seek at any time a diagnosis from a licensed physician, chiropractor, or acupuncture practitioner or a service from a physician, chiropractor, dentist, nurse, osteopath, physical therapist, occupational therapist, massage therapist, dietitian, midwife, acupuncture practitioner, athletic trainer, or any other type of licensed health care practitioner.”

Requires form/electronic signature to provide Reiki or any other holistic practitioners.
